Midday in a hot , yellow desert. There's only the sand, a lion, an orange and a blue sky of the bluest color. The lion stares intently at the orange. The orange stoic, stubborn, unmovable.
Lions don't eat oranges.Why?. Because of a pact made thousands of years ago. The oranges are providers of wisdom to lions, and lions in return are the only creatures capable of hearing what oranges have to say. They are connected in that way. But today the orange will not talk to the lion. The lion roars, hisses at the orange. But no word will come out. The lion has waited for 4 months, thirteen days, and eight hours. Finally turns around and walks away, when suddenly the orange says - our covenant is over, we have no more wisdom to share with the lion, its time the lion finally eats the orange- but the lion only stares - we grew accustom to blood,- says the lion- its warm and savory, besides it caries memories and far more wisdom. we will keep eating flesh and drinking blood until the oranges are no more-. The orange, perplexed cant find a rebuttal. Filled with anger and frustration, it turns the sands into concrete and the sky into metal and glass, and casts the lion out to the shameful green pastures, fill with others similar to his kind, where he roams in search of new and nourishing blood.
